BURSARY/SCHOLARSHIP

We are proud to offer a scholarship/bursary in the amount of $500.00 to
one student each from Winston Knoll Collegiate and Michael A. Riffel
High School.  The criteria is set out below.  If you have any questions

CRITERIA: 

Ø      be a resident in our Walsh Acres, Lakeridge Garden Ridge Community.

Ø      attendance/acceptance in any post-secondary educational,
technical or trades program in the upcoming fall. Specify.

Ø      any volunteer activities within the community; charitable organizations,
city programs, etc will be considered eligible.  Specify.

Ø      one page essay “Why Education Is Important To Me”

Ø      include, on a separate page, your name, physical address, e-mail
address, phone number and whether you attend Knoll or Riffel.

Do not include any additional pages or additional information beyond that outlined above.

Deadlines for submissions is MN March 31st by e-mail to: walsh.acres@sasktel.net

As a point of clarification, your submission should be three pages.
The first page would include your name, physical address, e-mail address, phone number and whether you attend Knoll or Riffel.
The second page would specify your attendance/acceptance in any post-secondary educational, technical or trades program in the upcoming fall and include your volunteer activities.
The third page would be your essay "Why Education Is Important To Me".
Submissions received prior to March 10, 2010 will not be penalized if pages don't exactly meet the information provided immediately above.

• ENTRY IS RESTRICTED TO RESIDENTS OF WALSH ACRES, LAKERIDGE AND GARDEN RIDGE.

• INFORMATION PROVIDED WILL ONLY BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE INTENDED.

• THE WALSH ACRES/LAKERIDGE/GARDEN RIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION INC. WILL AWARD THE BURSARY/SCHOLARSHIP IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.

• BY SUBMITTING YOUR NAME, YOU AGREE THAT SHOULD YOU BE THE CHOSEN RECIPIENT, YOU AUTHORIZE THE WALSH ACRES/ LAKERIDGE/GARDEN RIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION INC. TO POST YOUR NAME AND/OR PICTURE AND/OR DETAILS OF YOUR SUBMISSION ON THIS WEBSITE.

• THE WALSH ACRES/LAKERIDGE/GARDEN RIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION INC. RESERVES THE RIGHT
  TO ADD/DELETE/CHANGE ANY ASPECT OF THIS BURSARY/SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AT ANY TIME.
